Trash Bins – Installed







The first 3 bins are in with maybe a few to come. Above are a Before-and-After pic of the good old #1 in place in Squier Park Neighborhood. Thanks to everyone for the kindness and support.




Ornamental Security Grates


 
 
 

 
These are a series of steel ornamental security grates for a mid-town home. The geometry is inspired by the historic leaded window that was found in the basement. The grates increase security with a nod to context.

UMKC Theater Student Mail boxes






Above is the newly installed casework on the lower level of the UMKC Performing Arts Center. After and before pics. The simple and clean design that utilize red oak, white melamine and masonite with a low VOC. enviro finish.

Furniture work @ DCCA - Solo Exhibit



Good News!
Several of my furniture pieces were selected for a Solo show at the Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts (DCCA) in Wilmington, DE. I am most excited about the show and the opportunity to work with the great group of folks at the museum. Dates are to be solidified soon.

International Furniture Design Competition

This is a chair design for the 2011 Becker Design Competition. This view is one of several pages submitted for the international competition that take place every couple of years in Brakel, Germany. The host company, Fritz Becker KG is one of the world's leading molded-wood manufacturers.
It is the third generation of my chair design MOTTE.

Nine of my furniture works are staying on display at the Society for Contemporary Craft in Pittsburgh. The month has extended into a few. I am most excited about the extension for display of the works and the continued interaction with the great folks at SCC.

Kansas City Woodworkers and Wood Turners Guilds


I have recently joined the Kansas City Woodworkers Guild (KCWG) and the Kansas City Wood Turners Guild.. What a great facility and wonderful group of people.
