A great end to a day filled with walks thru. the streets of Fishtown Neighborhood reviewing residential walk-up infill projects. AAAhhh, Spring on the East Girard Ave. looking to Center City Philly.

Japanese Tea House

A few images from Shofuso Japanese House…. The structure is now housed in Philadelphia’s West Fairmount Park, originally constructed in 1953, found it current home in 1958. What a wonderful sunny day to explore the house and garden spaces.

Commissioned Display Objects

The wood objects pictured were commissioned for a local Delaware silversmith. Amelia is participating in the Instructor & Student Continuing Education exhibit at Delaware College of Art and Design's main gallery. The exhibit opened as part of the First Friday’s arts tour for April. The turnings are from locally harvested cherry and walnut for the hanging pedestal the rear of the display.
