Sphere
Todd Hoyer

Now - 2011 Jan 30
"A Revolution in Wood celebrates the magnificent gift of sixty-six pieces of turned and carved wood to the Smithsonian American Art Museum by the noted collectors, Fleur and Charles Bresler. Works by some of the best-known wood artists in the United States highlight the expressive capacity of craft's most organic material, and display wood turning's growing sophistication. Nearly half of the artworks in the exhibition will be on public display for the first time."

Joy of Moving

It is a pleasure and a pain. No matter happenings in-between; the ending is the same as the beginning, an empty truck.

Manipulated landscape Imagery - West Penn Trail

Much of my work includes imagery I have taken on hikes around the Indiana, Pa region. The photos are of “natural” scenery. The photos are edited and incorporated as laser etchings onto wood furniture structures. This scene is destined for a wall hung/ room divider made from salvaged flooring and cut-offs from my studio work.
